ICC to make Olympic Games bid for inclusion of Cricket

The ICC has been in the race for the inclusion of cricket in the Olympic Games for a long time. They have made the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics a target for the inclusion of the sports and are doing all their best for it to happen.

Only time will tell whether the International Cricket Council's (ICC) efforts to integrate cricket into the Olympic Games will succeed. However, the ICC, the highest governing body of cricket, is planning to bid 3 million United States Dollar to include cricket in the Olympic Games.

The hope that cricket would be included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is getting stronger and stronger. Although cricket is not on the preliminary list of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The IOC has proposed 26 different sports divisions, including skateboarding, sport climbing and surfing, for inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. However, the ICC is not losing hope.

An ICC official said a few days ago that there was still room for cricket to be included in the Olympics as an additional sport. The final decision will be taken in 2023. The ICC is now set to make a bid of 3 Million United States Dollar to include the game of cricket in the Olympics.
