Former Pakistani pacer Sohail Khan has caught the attention of the cricket world with some of his controversial statements recently. Firstly, he talked about his verbal exchange with Virat Kohli during the 2015 ODI World Cup.

Adding to that, he has delivered yet another controversial statement, but this time for young Indian speedster Umran Malik. Jammu and Kashmir born pacer who has impressed everyone with his ability to bowl at over 150 km/h is considered one of the most promising young talents in Indian cricket.

He has been a part of the Indian white-ball setup and has played some games in both ODIs and T20Is. In a podcast, the former Pakistani pacer said, when asked about Umran Malik, that there are a number of such bowlers in the Pakistan domestic circuit who can bowl over 150 km/h.

And now, Umran's mentor and former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has come up with an epic reply and said that there is no need to give attention to such statements as Sohail is doing all these two get the attention of the world.

Retired Major Gaurav Arya posted the statement of a former Pakistani pacer and mentioned that such statements were also made when Irfan Pathan came into the scene, and then he went to thrash Pakistan at their home.

Reacting to that Tweet, Irfan replied, "Major sahab ese statements de kar inhe attention chahiye, Ignore maariye."

Earlier, Sohail also talked about Virat Kohli's sixes to Haris Rauf in the 2022 T20 World Cup and said that there was nothing special about those shots and that they were average. He also said that once MS Dhoni requested him not to sledge him. He also claimed that Rohit Sharma is a better batsman than Virat.
