Cricket is a game of many surprises, and fans have seen many weird and unusual events over the years. However, the moment captured on Sunday may turn out to be the most unexpected thing to happen.

It occurred during the 21st game of the ongoing inaugural season of the International League T20 (ILT20) in the UAE. It was the game between MI Emirates and Desert Vipers at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. That game recorded the biggest win in the tournament so far.

Batting first, MI made a huge total of 241/3 in their 20 overs. Andre Fletcher and Muhammad Waseem gave MI a brilliant start and added 141 runs for the first wicket in 12.3 overs. Fletcher made 50 off 39, while Waseem scored 86 off 44 balls, with 11 fours and four sixes.

In the end, Dan Mousley and skipper Kieron Pollard played brilliant cameos. Mousley remained unbeaten on 31 off 17, with three fours and two sixes, while Pollard scored a blistering half-century. He made 50 off just 19 balls with four sixes and four boundaries. A total of 12 sixes were hit in the first inning.

During that inning, Mousley hit a six-run six in the 18th over off Matheesha Pathirana, which went out of the stadium on the road, and a fan was seen picking up the ball and running away. Then, in the very next over by Tom Curran, Pollard hit another ball out of the stadium, but this time another fan picked up the ball and threw it back into the ground from the roads.

The pair of Mousley and Pollard scored 69 runs in the last three overs, which tells you the story of the carnage made at the Sharjah Stadium. In reply, Desert Vipers had a contrasting batting display, and they got all out for 84 runs in 12.1 overs and suffered the heaviest defeat by 157 runs.
