KL Rahul responds to Athiya Shetty's request for Face Time

The captain of the Punjab Kings team KL Rahul is currently playing in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. Rahul’s team has not been able to perform well in this year’s IPL so far. During the Indian leg of the competition, the Kings could win only three of their eight matches. 

Now, the second leg of the competition is underway in the United Arab Emirates. The Punjab Kings played their first game of the UAE leg against the Rajasthan Royals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Despite some brilliant individual performances, the Punjab Kings failed to defeat the Rajasthan Royals. 

The Mohali-based franchise required only four runs off the final over to win the match. Set batters Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram were in the middle. However, the Punjab Kings still found a way to lose the match. 

The Punjab Kings will be playing their next match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad this Saturday in Sharjah. The match should be a high-scoring one because the Sharjah Cricket Stadium is famous for high-scoring matches. KL Rahul will be keen to take the field and lead the Punjab Kings against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday.

Before match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, KL Rahul received a message from his rumored girlfriend Athiya Shetty 

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been rumored to be dating each other for quite some time. Recently, Rahul posted an Instagram story, where he is responding a question from her rumored girlfriend. 

It seems that the popular Bollywood actress wanted to facetime KL Rahul. So, she wrote on Instagram: “You should deffs FaceTime me.” Soon, Rahul posted a picture of himself with an angry pose, and replied to Athiya: “Our face when you don’t pick up Athiya Shetty.” You can see the screenshot of that Instagram story right here:
