Lungi Ngidi drops a huge hint that he is not happy at Chennai Super Kings

South African fast bowler Lungi Ngidi is a part of the Chennai Super Kings team in IPL 2020. He had done a decent job with the ball, but his economy rate was very high. Subsequently, the team management dropped him from the playing XI. Ngidi was preferred ahead of Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Santner, and Imran Tahir in the CSK playing XI.

He scalped four wickets for the team in two matches before being dropped from the playing XI. Ngidi seems to be unhappy with the team management of CSK if one has a closer look at his recent Twitter activity. He first posted this cryptic message on his social media:

“There’s a lot of bad things that they wishing on me.”

While it is not clear whether this shot was fired at the CSK management or someone else, but Lungi Ngidi is certainly not happy. To make matters worse for CSK fans, Lungi went on to like one of the replies to his tweet that asked him to change his IPL team, saying that he deserved a better team.

No player would like or engage with a tweet that says anything wrong about their franchise. However, Lungi Ngidi has done just that. It is noteworthy that CSK have played Lungi in only two games so far in IPL 2020.

The right-arm pacer will be available for transfer in the mid-season transfer window. The Chennai Super Kings should try to sign an Indian batsman in case they are willing to trade out Lungi Ngidi.

The mid-season transfer window will begin from 13th October onwards. It will be intriguing to see if Chennai consider trading Lungi Ngidi out of the team. Someone like Ajinkya Rahane could be a player that CSK would love to sign during the upcoming mid-season transfer window of IPL 2020.
