Malti Chahar hilariously trolls Deepak after his engagement

Chennai Super Kings star Deepak Chahar proposed to his girlfriend Jaya yesterday after the match against the Punjab Kings in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. Chahar has now officially confirmed his relationship. 

However, according to an article in Zoom TV Entertainment, Deepak had been dating Jaya for quite some time. Here’s what the report dated August 31, 2021 claimed:

“Reportedly, the duo is very serious about one another and are even planning on getting married. According to a source close to Bollywood Life, the pair is planning to do a roka very soon and Jaya may also go to Dubai to be with Deepak. Deepak apparently has also has introduced her to the entire cricket team.”

Deepak Chahar’s elder sister Malti was delighted after seeing the video of his engagement. The video has gone viral. And soon after the engagement, Deepak’s father revealed that it was Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s idea. Initially, Chahar wanted to propose after the playoffs, but Dhoni wanted him to propose after the last match of the league stage.

Malti Chahar was the first to reveal that Deepak has got engaged to Jaya. Initially, some fans guessed that Jaya was a foreigner. However, Malti clarified that she is an Indian and from Delhi.

Deepak Chahar will next be in action during the IPL 2021 Playoffs. The all-rounder will look forward to ensuring that the Chennai Super Kings reach the final and record their fourth title win. Currently, the Super Kings are on a 3-match losing streak in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League.
