Cricketers, not only Indian cricketers, are nothing short of a Bollywood actor or Hollywood actor in terms of followers. Cricketers and many other sportspersons have more than 5 million followers on their social media account.

And such a famous cricketer is India's one of the most successful and ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Today, MS Dhoni is trending on social media after fans found that the blue tick is missing from the Indian cricketer's Twitter profile.

Fans who love to keep track of their favorite players were shocked when they found out that the blue tick is missing from the former Indian cricket team captain's Twitter account.

This has lead to many fans wondering why it has happened or his account has been hacked. Well, no, Twitter itself has removed the blue tick from Dhoni's account after MS Dhoni violated Twitter's rule.

What rule? Well, nothing serious. Twitter has a rule that any person who has a blue tick on his account must keep his account active, and inactivity will remove the blue tick.

An official Twitter help page states that to avoid losing the blue tick, the person must log in to the account in the last six months. However, the Chennai Super Kings skipper is inactive on his Twitter account for more than the previous six months. His last post came on the 8th of January.

MS Dhoni is one of the most followed cricketers on Twitter, with more than 8 million followers.

Talking about MS Dhoni. Dhoni is the most successful captain in Indian cricket's history, having won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, Cricket World Cup in 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.

Dhoni represents the Chennai Super Kings team in the Indian Premier League, and CSK is one of the most successful IPL franchises, having won the competition thrice in 2010, 2011, and 2018. That is enough to tell what level of player MS Dhoni is.
