Natasa Stankovic reacts to brother-in-law Krunal Pandya's debut

Natasa Stankovic posted two Instagram stories to appreciate her brother-in-law Krunal Pandya’s performance on his ODI debut. Krunal received his maiden ODI cap earlier today in Pune, and he impressed right away with a half-century. 

His fifty ensured that the Indian cricket team went close to the 320-run mark in the first innings. The English team could not chase the mammoth target set by the hosts. Eventually, India took a 1-0 lead in the 3-match ICC Cricket World Cup Super League series. 

Here’s how Natasa Stankovic reacted to the batting performance of Krunal Pandya. 

Natasa Stankovic is married to Hardik Pandya. The couple recently became parents. Natasa and Hardik live together with Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri Sharma. The Pandya family is quite close to each other. However, they lost the support of Himanshu Pandya recently. 

Himanshu is the late father of Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya. The Pandya brothers recently lost their father. They were quite emotional on the field today. Krunal could not even give an interview after scoring a half-century on his ODI debut. 

Looking at his celebrations after touching the 50-run mark, one could understand that he was dedicating this knock to his father. 

Krunal Pandya picked up one wicket on ODI wicket 

Krunal Pandya earned a spot in the Indian playing XI as an all-rounder. Skipper Virat Kohli used his full quota of ten overs in the first ODI at the MCA Stadium. 

Krunal gave away 59 runs in his ten overs and dismissed all-rounder Sam Curran. Prasidh Krishna was another debutant playing this match. Krishna impressed the fans with his four-wicket haul on debut. 

The second ODI of this series will take place on March 26 at the same venue. The Indian cricket team will have an opportunity of taking an unassailable lead by winning back-to-back games against England.
