Natasa Stankovic reacts to KL Rahul's century

KL Rahul destroyed the England bowling lineup with a magnificent century in the second ODI at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The right-handed batsman scored 108 runs from 114 balls to take the Indian cricket team to 336/6 in 50 overs. 

Rahul’s performance received praise from his best friend Hardik Pandya’s wife Natasa Stankovic. Natasa reposted the video of KL Rahul’s century and lauded him by writing: “Bravo!”

KL Rahul finally returned to form in the ODI series at the MCA Stadium in Pune. He had a forgettable outing in the 5-match T20I series against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, he has performed really well in the 50-overs format. 

Rahul gets a chance to bat in the middle-order during the ODI games. It seems like the middle-order is the perfect spot for the Karnataka-based player. Rahul scored a half-century in the first match and followed it up with a ton in the second game. Unfortunately, India lost the second ODI against England. 

Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow ensure KL Rahul’s efforts went in vain 

KL Rahul’s excellent batting performance guided the Indian cricket team to a solid 336-run total in the first innings. Chasing 337 runs, it seemed like England would be the team under pressure. 

However, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow provided an incredible start to the team in the powerplay over. Roy departed soon after completing his half-ton, while Bairstow went on to complete his century. 

Ben Stokes supported Bairstow to perfection in the middle as the duo ensured that Team India stood no chance of taking an unassailable lead in the 2nd ODI. Dawid Malan and Liam Livingstone took the team’s score to 337 in 43.3 overs as the visitors secured a 6-wicket win in Pune.
