Prithvi Shaw was one of the many heroes with the bat for team India in the first One Day International match between India and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka gave the Indian side a target of 263 runs after they ended their inning on 262 runs with nine wickets.
Chasing 263, Prithvi Shaw got India off to a flyer as he scored four fours in the first two overs, showing a bit of shade of Virender Sehwag. The right-handed batsman added a crucial 58 runs with captain Shikhar Dhawan at the top before Prithvi was dismissed for 43 runs of 24 balls, smashing nine boundaries.
