PSL 2023: Here's complete list of Prize Money, Award Winners, Best Stats and Records
The high-voltage 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League ended with a nail-biting game between Multan Sultan and the defending champion Lahore Qalandars at the Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday. And it was Shaheen Afridi and his men who held the nerve in the end.

Lahore snatched the win from the jaws of defeat and registered a one-run win to win the championship for the second time in a row. The PSL 2023 final was originally supposed to be played on Sunday, but due to a bad weather forecast, it was shifted to Saturday.

Mohammad Rizwan-led Multan beat Lahore in Qualifier 1 to move on to the final, while Lahore beat Peshawar Zalmi in Eliminator by 84 runs to play their second successive final. With the win, Lahore became the first team, and Shaheen became the first captain, to lead a team to successive PSL titles.

Earlier in the group stage, Lahore topped the table with seven wins out of 10 games, while Multan ended second with six wins and four losses. On the other hand, Multan skipper Mohammad Rizwan ended as the highest run scorer with yet another 500-plus campaign in 11 innings.

He also became the first player to score 500 or more in three consecutive PSL seasons. Multan's young opener Usman Khan smashed a 36-ball century against Quetta Gladiators to register the fastest PSL ton in history. Meanwhile, Multan also registered the highest ever PSL total of 262 in the same game.
