Rajasthan Royals give epic reply to a fan who wanted Steve Smith in CSK
Steve Smith has been one of the best players for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. The Australian batsman has been the team’s captain after Ajinkya Rahane. Unfortunately, the Rajasthan Royals finished at the last position on the IPL 2020 points table in the United Arab Emirates.
Surprisingly, Steve Smith preferred to open the innings for the Royals instead of sending rising star Yashasvi Jaiswal to the top. Smith batted in an aggressive manner and often lost his wickets while trying to boost the run rate. The IPL 2021 trade window has opened now, and a Chennai Super Kings fan wanted the Royals to trade Smith to the Super Kings.
However, the fan got a savage reply from the Royals social media admin as he mentioned that Steve Smith was too young to join the Chennai Super Kings. Here’s what RR replied to that fan:
"Let's wait on this, he's still in his early 30s."

The Chennai Super Kings invested their funds in experienced players. Most of their players were above 30 years old, while some were even close to 40. Thus, the Rajasthan Royals admin took a shot at their seniority levels and stated that they would have to wait for some more years because Steve Smith was still in his early 30s.
Steve Smith is currently playing in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the Australian cricket team. He struggled to get going in the first two games of the series. However, Smith got back to form and scored a magnificent century in the third Test match.
IPL 2021 Auction will likely happen around February 11. The player retention deadline is set for January 21. Also, the trading window for IPL 2021 is open now. It will be interesting to see if the Rajasthan Royals trade any player before IPL 2021.
