Reason why Mohammed Shami is wearing a torn shoe at Adelaide Oval

Shoes have become one of the best ways of showing the fashion sense to others. But Indian cricket team’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami took the field in Adelaide with a torn shoe. A few fans were surprised to see Mohammed Shami wear a torn shoe on his left foot. 

Commentator Shane Warne explained on air that Mohammed Shami used this tactic so that he can land properly. Warne stated that Shami had a high-arm bowling action. So to ensure that there is not much pressure on his left foot and there is ample space available for the left toe, he preferred to wear a torn shoe. 

The images of Shami wearing these shoes have gone viral on the internet. Many fans have lauded him for wearing these shoes for the better performance of the Indian cricket team. Shami has not picked up a single wicket in the pink-ball Test match at Adelaide Oval. 

Still, he has kept a check on the run-flow with his economy rate of 2.5. It will be intriguing to see if Shami can take wickets with this new tactic. Warne also joked that Shami would never use this shoe when batting because then the Aussies would trouble him with yorkers.
