Rishabh Pant forced to change caption on Instagram after being trolled

Rishabh Pant has become the talk of the town after his brilliant performance in the fourth innings of The Gabba Test match. Pant had scored the winning boundary for the team in Brisbane, thus ending Australia’s 32-year unbeaten streak at the venue.

After the match, Rishabh Pant won the Man of the Match award, where he described the moment as one of the biggest moments of his life. Pant has returned to India along with the rest of the team and will now be in action against England at home.

In the meantime, Rishabh Pant shared a photo on Instagram of himself wearing a T-shirt with a cartoon on it. In the caption, Rishabh had asked his fans if they had seen the cartoon ever before.

Some fans trolled Rishabh Pant by saying he was a cartoon and they had seen him. Even Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan pulled Pant’s leg by saying they had seen both Tom and Rishabh Pant in their life.

Thus, after the fans started trolling him, Pant had to change his caption. He then changed the caption to - “How many of you have watched this cartoon on my T-shirt?”

Here is Rishabh Pant’s post with the updated caption -

Rishabh Pant will play many cricket matches in 2021. He is a part of the Test squad for the ICC World Test Championship series against England. Also, he will likely play the ODI and T20I series versus the English cricket team.

Next, Pant will don the Delhi Capitals jersey in IPL 2021. Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan will be his opponents in the IPL. Thus, Pant might try to avenge this trolling by attacking both leg-spinners in the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Sunrisers Hyderabad, respectively.

Rashid is currently playing for Afghanistan against Ireland, while Chahal is a part of Haryana Team in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
