19th September 2021 will be the day that will kickstart the phase 2 of the Indian Premier League. The 14th edition of IPL got postponed mid way following the covid virus outbreak into the bio bubble. The authorities decided to shift the remaining matches to UAE, which successfully hosted the IPL 2020.

Many of the players have reached their destination for the upcoming matches. However, there will be many changes in this phase 2 as few players will be absent from the league. The sides have already started announcing the replacements of the unavailable players.

The RCB side has named Wanindu Hasaranga as a replacement for Adam Zampa, while Dushmantha Chameera will replace Daniel Sams. George Garton will take Kane Richardson's place, and Tim David has filled in for Finn Allen.

Royal Challengers Bangalore's all-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the remainder of the Vivo IPL 2021 due to an impending finger injury. Akash Deep, a state cricketer from Bengal and net bowler with the franchise, has been named as a replacement.

Washington Sundar injured his finger during the practice game before the 5 match test series against the English side. The x-ray scans reported the injury as a fracture which resulted in the cricketer being out of action for few months.

Akash Deep has been a star bowler in the domestic circuit. His best bowling figures were recorded at 4 wickets for 35 runs which he claimed in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy during the current year.

The first game for the Virat's bold army in this phase 2 will be against the KKR side. RCB fans would be hoping their side to lift the debut IPL title this season. With so many new names in the list, it would be exciting to see how Virat forms his playing 11.
