It is not a daily occasion that you get your name to feature on the honors board of an English cricket ground. Jasprit Bumrah starred in the honors board of Trent Bridge as he successfully claimed an all-important fiver that brought England to its knees in the second innings.

After an emphatic showdown in the first innings, Bumrah announced a terrific comeback, claiming the big wicket of Rory Burns to start the showdown. England seemed well settled on the opening day of the Test until Shami wreaked havoc.

Bumrah was brought late to the attack, and he did a successful job of mopping up the English tail in no time.

However, he kept his best saved for the last. As England took guard in the second innings, their captain, Joe Root, displayed a decent command with a blistering century.

Bumrah's second innings exploits started with Dom Sibley and followed suit with Zack Crawley, Sam Curran, Joe Root, and Stuart Broad. India seemed anxious about Root's growing innings, but India's elite fast bowler pulled off an exceptional comeback after a couple of mediocre series.

Sanjana Ganesan, the illustrious sports presenter, and wife of Jasprit Bumrah, posted a story on Instagram where she mentioned Bumrah's claim on the honors board by uploading a snap.

The chemistry between the duo has been evoking awe for a while. They are being deemed as one of the most adorable couples in the roster of Indian cricket. The couple tied the knot earlier this year and started a new chapter in their lives.

India needs 157 runs more to win the first Test Match and script history. KL Rahul was dismissed yesterday after a decent knock that firmly established India in the driver's seat. This will be a five-match Test series that also flags India's beginning in the second World Test Championship.
