The third match of the ICC World Test Championship series between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team will get underway tomorrow morning at Newlands in Cape Town. It is the series decider as both teams have won a match each in the 3-match series so far.

The Indian cricket team played the New Year’s Test at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. KL Rahul captained the Indian cricket team for the first time ever, but the team lost the Test match to the South African cricket team.

Captain Virat Kohli was scheduled to play in the match, but at the last minute, he had to pull out because of a back spasm. But the skipper himself has confirmed now that he will be fit in time for the 3rd Test and so he will return to the playing XI.

At the press conference which happened earlier today, Virat Kohli also confirmed that Mohammed Siraj is not fully fit and so the Indian cricket team will not risk him in the Test match that will decide the winner of the ICC World Test Championship series between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team.

Who will replace Mohammed Siraj in the Indian playing XI?

According to a report by Times of India, the Indian cricket team may make a couple of changes to their playing XI for the third match of ICC World Test Championship series against the South African cricket team.

Since Virat Kohli is ready to make his return, he will walk into the playing XI in Hanuma Vihari’s place. The second change may be Ishant Sharma replacing Mohammed Siraj. There is a race between Sharma and Umesh Yadav for a spot in the playing XI. It will be interesting to see who plays tomorrow.
