Team India's full schedule for the year 2022
After ending 2021 on a high with a historic win against the South African cricket team at the SuperSport Park in Centurion, the Indian cricket team will play a lot of matches in the year 2022.
Virat Kohli will captain the Indian cricket team in the ICC World Test Championship matches, whereas Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian ODI and T20I squads in the white-ball arena. For the first time in a long time, a new year will start with split captaincy in the Indian cricket team.
Speaking of the Indian cricket team’s schedule for the year 2022, the Men in Blue will continue their 3-Test series against South Africa and then they will play 3 ODI matches against the Proteas.
After that, India will return home and host West Indies and Sri Lanka. IPL 2022 will happen after the Sri Lanka vs India series. Post IPL 2022, India will battle South Africa in a 5-match T20I series and then take a flight to England for seven matches.
