Tim Southee credits IPL for New Zealand's performance in T20 World Cup 2021
Tim Southee, New Zealand's one of the greatest seasoned pace bowler, claimed that playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, with days before the commencement of the ICC men's T20 World Cup 2021, has benefited all of New Zealand's bowlers.
The New Zealand bowling attack was on outstanding form as they stopped Virat Kohli captained Team India to just 110 runs in India's 2nd match in the T20 World Cup match on Sunday, the October 31st.
Kane Williamson led New Zealand side cruised to an 8 wicket victory over India, thanks largely to their bowling department's outstanding performance. Southee, Trent Boult, and Mitchell Santner have all played for various teams in Indian Premier League 2021.
