Former Indian U-19 Cricket World Cup winning captain Unmukt Chand has been in the headlines this year. He first announced his retirement from Indian cricket and decided to shift to the United States of America.

Next, he joined the leagues in the USA and performed exceptionally well with the willow. Soon after, Big Bash League team Melbourne Renegades signed him as Unmukt Chand became the first-ever Indian men’s cricketer to earn a Big Bash League contract.

Last week, the former Rajasthan Royals batter got married to Sanjana Khosla. He informed the fans with posts on social media, and Sanjana’s Instagram account suggests that she is a nutritionist. Star Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was also present.

Sanjana Khosla’s Twitter account was also noticed by some fans, and a few of them found some old tweets from her handle, where she asked IPL teams like Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals as well as state associations to take notice of Unmukt Chand’s talent.

She has now turned her account private, but multiple websites covered her tweets, and here are the tweets. A Twitter user also took note of this and wrote:

Unmukt Chand picked the top three moments of his cricketing career

After he decided to move to the United States, Unmukt Chand spoke with Sportskeeda, where he picked the top three moments of his cricketing journey. Here’s what Chand said:

“The India Under-19 victory has to be there. Then, my first 151 against Railways at Roshanara Ground in my debut season. And then, probably getting dropped from Delhi in the Vijay Hazare of 2017 season, when I was leading India A and getting runs and everything.”

According to reports, a popular IPL franchise told Unmukt Chand they will sign him, but after Chand asked for his release from Mumbai Indians, none of the teams signed him at the IPL Auction 2017.
