Virat-Ganguly Controversy takes new turn: Virat Kohli unfollows Ganguly on Instagram after RCB vs DC game

Notably, since Virat lost his Indian captaincy, some media reports have claimed that there is some rift between him and then-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly. Then, after winning the game on Saturday, Virat was seen not shaking hands with Ganguly, who was also avoiding it.
That sparked the debate about something not good between two former Indian captains. And now, amid also these, one new thing is catching the attention of everyone. It is about that Virat has unfollowed the former BCCI president on Instagram.

Earlier, Virat was following 276 Instagram accounts, which included Ganguly's as well, but now that he has followed him, as per the report from mykhel.com. The controversy between the two began when Virat was sacked from his ODI captaincy ahead of the South Africa tour.
The 34-year-old was not happy with the decision and came up with a fiery press conference with bold claims. He also claimed that the BCCI didn't have any prior discussion on this and was informed a few hours before the team left for the tour.
On the other hand, Ganguly said that as Virat left the T20I captaincy, the board decided to sack him from ODIs as well and hand over the white-ball captaincy to Rohi Sharma. Notably, Virat has been at his best in the ongoing tournament in the IPL 2023 and is among the top run-getters in the tournament with 213 runs in four innings.
