Wasim Jaffer gives hilarious reply to an RCB fan who wanted Chris Gayle back

The pre-season trade window ahead of IPL 2021 is open now. There have been three successful trades so far. First, the Royal Challengers Bangalore signed Delhi Capitals’ two all-rounders Daniel Sams and Harshal Patel. Next, the Chennai Super Kings traded Robin Uthappa from the Rajasthan Royals. 

 The Kings XI Punjab have not been so active on the trade window this year. However, the fans of other franchises have been looking for the players that the Mohali-based franchise has retained. A Royal Challengers Bangalore fan wanted Chris Gayle back to his team via a trade. 

Wasim Jaffer, who is a member of the Kings XI Punjab coaching staff, is very active on social media. He has gained a lot of popularity courtesy of his hilarious memes, messages, and statements. He has also engaged with the fans on the social media platform. 

When a fan asked for Gayle to be traded from Kings XI Punjab to Royal Challengers Bangalore, Wasim Jaffer replied to him with a picture of Chris Gayle ringing a bell. The fans who understand the meaning of the bell in Hindi will get what Jaffer wanted to say. For others, it is a sign that KXIP would not release Gayle at any chance.

The IPL 2021 Auction will likely happen in February. Some reports have claimed that the auction could happen around February 11. However, there has been no official confirmation about the same. 

The Kings XI Punjab released some big names like Glenn Maxwell, Sheldon Cottrell, Jimmy Neesham, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Karun Nair, and Krishnappa Gowtham ahead of the IPL 2021 Auction. Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers Bangalore has let go of Chris Morris, Aaron Finch, Isuru Udana, Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, and others. It will be interesting to see which players RCB and KXIP sign.
