WATCH: Australia 'A' fielder unable to find the pink-ball in stands after Rishabh Pant's one-handed six

The Indian cricket team has won three and lost three matches against Australia on the tour so far. The Men in Blue lost the ODI series 1-2, but they bounced back in style to secure the T20I series by 2-1.

Australia still starts as the favorites to win the ICC World Test Championship series against India. The primary reason behind is that Indian skipper Virat Kohli will not be available for the last three games of the ICC World Test Championship series. Also, the team does not have its most experienced fast bowler Ishant Sharma for this series.

On the other side, David Warner and Steve Smith are back for Australia, with Marnus Labuschagne being in top-class form. The Indians made a disappointing start with the bat in the pink-ball tour match against Australia ‘A’.

However, they made a fantastic comeback in the second half of the first day with the fast bowlers firing in unison. The batsmen regained form in the second innings, with Rishabh Pant and Hanuma Vihari slamming centuries.

The fans were waiting for Pant to return to form, and today, he played an epic knock of 103*, silencing all of his critics. The southpaw took only 73 deliveries to complete his maiden pink-ball century.

Rishabh Pant hit nine fours and sixes in the innings, and one of the sixes traveled so long that the fielder was unable to find it in the empty stands. On the fourth ball of the Indian innings’ 86th over, Rishabh smacked a tossed up delivery from Mitchell Swepson straight over the mid-wicket boundary.

It was a one-handed shot. Nevertheless, it still got the distance as Pant inched closer to his hundred. Here is the video, showing how the fielders struggled to find the ball in the stands.

India ended the day with 386/4 on the board in 90 overs.
