Watch: Punjab Kings Players' Wild Celebration after Last-Ball Finish in high-scoring thriller vs CSK
It was MS Dhoni and his men who batted first. They did well with the bat. Both openers added 86 runs for the first wicket in 9.4 overs. Rituraj Gaikwad got out for 37 off 31, including four boundaries and one six.
Devon Conway added another 46 runs for the second wicket with Shivam Dube (28 off 17). Conway scored his fifth half century of this season and remained unbeaten on 92 off 52, with 16 boundaries and one maximum. As a result, CSK made 200/4 in their first inning.
Chasing the target, Punjab also had a decent partnership of 50 runs for the first wicket in 4.2 overs. PBKS skipper Shikhar Dhawan was the first wicket; he got out after scoring 28 off 15. Prabhsimran Singh started playing his shot. He made 42 from 24 balls.
However, CSK could not defend the total, and Punjab reached the target on the last ball of the match. It was Sikandar Raja who ended the match for the Punjab Kings, and they won by four wickets. There were some crazy celebrations by the PBKS after beating the four-time champion in their den.

Liam Livingstone also made a brilliant cameo; he scored 40 of just 24 runs, and Sam Curran (29 off 20) and Jitesh Sharma (21 off 10) also made some decent contributions to the chase. Raza remained unbeaten on 13 off 7 and led PBKS to the win. With this win, Punjab collected two important points on the table and is currently sitting in fifth place with 10 points, behind CSK.
