Rajasthan Royals are taking on Punjab Kings in the second game of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Both teams won their first game of the season quite comprehensively.

Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl first. PBKS has a brilliant start, with both openers adding 90 runs for the first wicket in just 9.4 overs. Prabhsimran Singh played an excellent innings and scored 60 off just 34 balls, with seven fours and three sixes.

Meanwhile, PBKS skipper Shikhar Dhawan continued his form and struck yet another IPL half-century. He remained unbeaten on 86 off 56 and helped PBKS reach a competitive target of 197/4 in 20 overs. For RR, Jason Holder was the pick of the bowler with 2/23 in his four overs.

Punjab batted well to get near the 200-run mark. But more than the batting performance of Punjab, one thing caught the attention of the fans and reminded many of the mankad incident involving Jos Buttler and Ravi Ashwin. Interestingly, Ashwin was involved in today's incident as well.

It happened on the fourth ball of the seventh over when Dhawan was backing too far at the bowler's end. Ashwin was on his bowling stride when he suddenly stopped in between and stared at Dhawan, who was out of the crease.

Notable, such an incident took place in IPL 2019 when Ashwin mankad run-out Buttler, who was playing for RR, which created chaos in the cricketing world and became a controversy.

Speaking of the game, both teams will look to win it and make it two out of two. It is the first game for Sanju Samson and his men on home ground. Whichever team wins this match will move into the top two positions on the points table.
