Yuzvendra Chahal, a very lethal bowler for the Indian national cricket team and his Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers, has revealed in an interview that if not Royal Challengers Bangalore, then which team he will play for the Indian Premier League.

Yuzvendra Chahal is a crucial member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad as captain Virat Kohli often depends on him to get wickets at important times, and he has succeeded a lot of times. With the IPL Mega Auction to be held this year, there is a possibility that the leg-spinner might not play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore from the Indian Premier League 2022 season.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who is at the moment is with the Indian team in Sri Lanka for the coming series against them, sat for an interview with Crictracker. During the interview, Yuzvendra Chahal was asked if not Royal Challengers Bangalore, which he would like to play for.

Yuzvendra Chahal could reunite with MS Dhoni if CSK picks him

Yuzvendra Chahal's answer was Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings, given that the pitch in Chennai supports spinners and him being so successful under the former India skipper MS Dhoni.

Under Mahendra Singh Dhoni's captaincy, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were so dangerous for any batsman, and thus, it is evident why Yuzvendra Chahal's preferred would be Chennai Super Kings if not Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Yuzvendra Chahal first appeared for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League back in 2011 when he made his IPL debut against Kolkata Knight Riders. However, he didn't feature for them after that but was a regular during the champions league. And it was only because of him, Mumbai Indians defeated Royals Challengers Bangalore to win the tournament.

Chahal was picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore during the 2014 IPL Auction after the leg-spinner failed to get many appearances for the Mumbai Indians. In his career so far, Yuzvendra Chahal has picked up 125 wickets in 106 matches.
