ATK Mohun Bagan spent quite a lot of money to acquire the services of star foreign midfielder Hugo Boumous from Mumbai City FC for a record transfer fee, while Liston Colaco has also joined for a brief period as the highest fee paid for a Indian player, before it was broken by Mumbai City FC signing Apuia.

Kerala Blasters, who have changed the complete foriegn players unit, has managed to keep hold of their star Indian players, the likes of Jessel Carneiro, Sahal Abdul Samad, Albino Gomes and Rahul KP to name a few.
