Bengaluru FC vs NorthEast United ISL 2021-2022 Match Preview, Live Streaming
The 2nd match of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-2022 season will be played between Bengaluru FC and NorthEast United on the 20th of November, Saturday.
A new looking Bengaluru FC this season will open up their campaign in the Indian Super League against Khalid Jamil's NorthEast United, playing as the home team.
Both the teams will be looking forward starting the season off to a positive start. In terms of their performance last season, Bengaluru FC surprisingly was not upto the mark, leading to the Head Coach Carles Cuadrat being sacked.
Bengaluru FC finished 7th in the league stage last, which is their worst ever result in the ISL. Whereas, NorthEast United looked a force to reckon with after Khalid Jamil took over as Head Coach midway the season. They finished 3rd in league phase, before was knocked-out by ATK Mohun Bagan in the semi-final.
While Bengaluru FC will be looking to reclaim their position as one of the top teams, NorthEast United would hope for another top season with Khalid Jamil being appointed as full-time Head Coach.
Bengaluru FC have throughout the pre-season made a lot of changes to their team, bringing in a lot of new foriegn faces, the likes of Alan Costa, Yrondu Musavu-King, Iman Basafa, Bruno Ramirez, Prince Ibara and kept hold of Cleiton Silva.

Whereas, NorthEast United also had to made changes but not as much as Bengaluru did. NorthEast United was blown with the departure of their Portuguese winger Luis Machado, who has been replaced by Mathias Coureur. While their former defender Dylan Fox has been signed by FC Goa, they have replaced him with Patrick Flottmann.

But the major blow for NorthEast United would be their midfielder Lalengmawia Apuia leaving to join Mumbai City FC. It would be interesting to see who take that void left by Apuia.
