PKL 2021: Gujarat Giants Full Squad after Pro Kabaddi League Auction

Two-time runners-up of the Pro Kabaddi League, Gujarat Giants have formed a solid defensive unit for PKL 2021. Manpreet Singh is the coach of the franchise, and ahead of the auction, the team management retained their cover defenders Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal. 

At the auction, the Gujarat Giants signed former Dabang Delhi KC corner defender Ravinder Pahal for a whopping INR 74 lakh. Surprisingly, Gujarat had released their star raider Sachin Tanwar and all-rounder Rohit Gulia before PKL Auction 2021. 

To strengthen their attack, the Gujarat Giants have signed seven raiders, namely Mahendra Ganesh Rajput, Ajay Kumar, Pardeep Kumar, Harshit Yadav, Sonu Jaglan, Rathan K and Maninder Singh. Besides, they have also signed two overseas players - Hadi Oshtorak and Soleiman Pahlevani. 

The defensive unit of the Gujarat Giants looks very strong because they have experienced names like Sunil, Parvesh, Ravinder and even Girish Maruti Ernak in the squad. Their raid attack is not so strong, but we have seen in the past that Gujarat achieves a lot of success with their defensive strength.
