One of the four teams that joined the Pro Kabaddi League before season 5, the Haryana Steelers, have made some interesting decisions before PKL Auction 2021. The Haryana-based franchise have released some of their top players before the Season 8 Auction. 

Along with the 11 other teams, the Haryana Steelers declared their list of retained and released players before the Pro Kabaddi League 2021 Auction. The team’s star raider Vikash Kandola will continue representing the Haryana Steelers in the 2021 edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. 

Along with him, Vinay, Vikas Chhillar and Chand Singh have been retained by the Haryana Steelers. There are some shocking names like Dhramaraj Cheralathan, Sunil, Naveen, Ravi Kumar and Vikas Kale present in the list of released players ahead of PKL Auction 2021. 

The Haryana Steelers have not won the PKL championship in the last three seasons since joining the league. But among the new teams, they have performed well. The Steelers qualified for the playoffs in 2019 by finishing fifth in the points table. 

The Haryana-based franchise played 22 matches like all other teams in the league. They managed to record 13 victories in the 22 games. One of the matches ended in a draw, while eight resulted in a defeat for the Steelers.
