PKL 2021: List of Players Retained and Released by Jaipur Pink Panthers

Inaugural champions of the Pro Kabaddi League, Jaipur Pink Panthers have released quite a few big names before PKL Auction 2021. The Rajasthan-based franchise won the title in the first edition of the league, but they have not done so in the six seasons played afterwards. 

The Jaipur Pink Panthers reached the final once, where they were defeated by the Patna Pirates. Now, the Pink Panthers have an opportunity to rebuild their squad ahead of the 2021 edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. 

Speaking of the player retentions made by the Jaipur Pink Panthers before PKL 2021, the Rajasthan-based team have retained seasoned pro Amit Hooda in the defensive unit. Also present in the list of retained players by the Jaipur Pink Panthers is all-rounder Nitin Rawal. 

The Jaipur Pink Panthers decided against retaining their captain of the last season, Deepak Niwas Hooda. Deepak has been one of the best all-rounders in the kabaddi world. He can contribute in the raid and defensive unit. 

Another star player released by the Jaipur Pink Panthers is raider Deepak Narwal. Pavan TR and Amit Hooda will form the team’s core. The Jaipur Pink Panthers achieved much success when they had experienced raider Jasvir Singh in the squad. 

The Abishek Bachchan-owned franchise will aim to sign a player like Jasvir at PKL Auction 2021 who can help the team achieve success once again.
