The Pune based VIVO Pro Kabaddi League franchise Puneri Paltan have built a great squad in the recently concluded Pro Kabaddi League player auction 2021, with the addition of some top quality players.

Since its inception, Puneri Paltan have always built a great squad, but it is that something which is was missing and thus the franchise has never won the Pro Kabaddi League.

Now with India's one of the great Anup Kumar at the helm as the head and the addition of top talents, the fans of the Puneri Paltan team can seriously hope for a title challenge this season.

Top talents like Rahul Chaudhari and Nitin Tomar (who also played for them last season) will be seen wearing the Orange jersey this season after both the superstar players have bought by the Pune based franchise.

Rahul Chaudhari and Nitin Tomar are both a very well known names in the history of Pro Kabaddi League. Rahul Chaudhari surprised everyone and scored 151 raid points in the inaugural season. Nitin Tomar also was a surprise package on his debut season for Bengal Warriors in season 3.

Rahul Chaudhari has amassed a massive total of 1014 total points, of which 955 is raid points. While Nitin Tomar has scored 467 total points of which 442 is raid point.

Puneri Paltan spent the most money to retain the services of their player Nitin Tomar for 61 Lakh INR using the FBM (Final Bid Match) card. Other than him, Puneri Paltan spent 60 Lakh INR on Baldev Singh and Vishal Bhardwaj, both are defender.

Baldev Singh won the PKL last time with Bengal Warriors and has scored 93 points in his 2 seasons in Pro Kabaddi League, on the other hand, Vishal Bhardwaj is one of the top defenders in the league and is just 1 point away from scoring 200 tackle points.
