PKL 2021: Tamil Thalaivas Full Squad after Pro Kabaddi League Auction
The VIVO Pro Kabaddi League 2021 promises to be quite an exciting tournament as season 8 of the prestigious game will reportedly be held from December this year.
But before the stage for the grand show, all the teams were busy building a Championship-winning squad during the three days of the Pro Kabaddi League 2021 Auction from the 29th of August till the 31st of August.

The team spent a considerable chunk of money during the auction to bring in some quality players. Their first two buys are the overseas players Anwar Saheed Baba and Mohammad Tuhin Tarafder, the former from Sri Lanka and the latter from Bangladesh; both will be playing for the first time in the league.
Among the top buys are Manjeet, K. Prapanjan and PO Surjeet Singh. Manjeet and PO Surjeet Singh come from the Puneri Paltan while K. Prapanjan comes from the defending champions Bengal Warriors.

Manjeet, who joined the Tamil Thalaivas from the Puneri Paltan, is the most expensive signing by the Tamil Thalaivas as they secured him for a hefty price tag of 92 Lakh INR.
Manjeet has played only two seasons of the Pro Kabaddi League in the previous two seasons and has become a household name to fans and the teams. In his two seasons, Manjeet has garnered 253 total points, of which 210 are raid points, and 43 are tackle points, showing that he is capable of defending and bringing points from raids.
