Pro Kabaddi League 2022 Best Raider, Best Defender: Most Raid Points, Most Tackle Points (Updated) as on Jan 8

Pro Kabaddi League 2022 continued in Bengaluru yesterday night with three matches taking place at the Grand Sheraton Hotel on January 9. The third match was a rematch of the fifth season’s grand finale where the Patna Pirates locked horns with the Gujarat Giants. Patna won that match by one point. 

The first match was a battle between the season seven runners-up Dabang Delhi KC and the star-studded UP Yoddha team. The Delhi-based franchise made a fantastic comeback in the second half and continued their unbeaten streak in the PKL 8 season. 

After that game, fans saw a match between the season two’s champions U Mumba and the Surinder Singh-led Telugu Titans team. As expected, the Mumbai-based franchise dominated the match and ultimately won it by a margin of 10 points. 

Now that the Triple Panga of January 9 is in the history books, here’s a look at the updated leaderboards for raiders and defenders in the PKL 8 season. 

Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 

The player with the most number of tackle points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 is Surender Nada. He has 22 tackle points and the duo of Surjeet Singh and Jaideep has also scored 22 tackle points each. 

U Mumba defender Rinku is in the Top 4 now after registering seven tackle points against the Telugu Titans. 

Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 

Naveen Kumar, Pawan Kumar Sehrawat, Arjun Deshwal and Maninder Singh continue to be the Top 4 raiders this season, but there are new names in the Top 7. 

V. Ajith Kumar has replaced Vikas Kandola in the fifth spot, while Abhishek Singh and Pardeep Narwal are back in the Top 7 after scoring 13 and 9 raid points in their respective matches that happened on January 9 in PKL 8.
