Pro Kabaddi League 2022 Best Raider, Best Defender: Most Raid Points, Most Tackle Points (Updated) as on Jan 9

Pro Kabaddi League action continued in Bengaluru on January 9, 2022, but unlike the previous nights in PKL 8, there were no close encounters yesterday. The first match of the night saw Puneri Paltan defeating the season seven champions Bengal Warriors by a big margin of 12 points. 

The night ended with a clash between Pardeep Narwal’s UP Yoddha and Pawan Kumar Sehrawat’s Bengaluru Bulls. Although Narwal did not score a single point for the Uttar Pradesh-based franchise, Yoddha crushed Bulls by 42-27 at the Grand Sheraton Whitefield.

Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 

It is a very heated race to the top defender’s position in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 right now. There are four defenders with 22 tackle points to their name right now. They are Surender Nada, Surjeet Singh, Sumit and Jaideep. 

Notably, the three defenders behind them - Sagar, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh and Rinku have scored 21 tackle points each. It is tough to decide who will win the Best Defender award. 

Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 

Naveen Kumar has continued to be at the helm of the raiders’ leaderboard, but Maninder Singh has replaced Arjun Deshwal in the Top 2. Singh scored 13 raid points against Puneri Paltan and inched closer to the 100 raid points milestone. 

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat notched up five raid points against UP Yoddha and cemented his place in the Top 3, whereas Arjun Deshwal has dropped to the fourth position now. There is one more change in the Top 7. Surender Gill has replaced his UP Yoddha teammate Pardeep Narwal in the seventh position.
