Pro Kabaddi League 2022 delivered two action-packed matches to the fans last night in Bengaluru. In the first match, the three-time PKL winners Patna Pirates got the better of season two champions U Mumba and rose to the top of the standings. 

Later in the night, the Gujarat Giants decimated the Telugu Titans by a scoreline of 40-22 and marched towards the upper half of the standings. The day belonged to the players of Patna Pirates and Gujarat Giants. 

Now that the two matches of yesterday are in the history books, let’s have a look at the updated Most Raid Points and Most Tackle Points lists of PKL 8. 

Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 

There were no major changes in the Top 6 of the defender’s leaderboard. Surjeet Singh, Sagar Rathee and Jaideep continue to be the Top 3 defenders, while Mohammreza Chiyaneh has attained the fourth position now thanks to his High 5 against the Mumbai-based franchise. 

Sahul Kumar and Rinku HC complete the Top 6 of the defenders’ leaderboard. Jaideep has a chance of becoming number one tonight as he will be in action against UP Yoddha. 

Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022

Naveen Kumar Goyat is the number one raider after 48 matches in Pro Kabaddi League 2022 with 130 raid points. Arjun Deshwal, Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and Maninder Singh are the other names in the Top 4. 

Rakesh HS of Gujarat Giants scored 16 raid points against the Telugu Titans yesterday, and this performance has taken him to the sixth position on the raiders’ leaderboard. There was one more change on the raiders’ standings, and that was the rise of Abhishek Singh. 

The U Mumba vice-captain has risen to the fifth position with 65 raid points to his name after eight games.
