Another 2011 World Cup winner who retired on August 15, 2020 was Suresh Raina. The left-handed batsman announced his retirement just a few minutes after MS Dhoni's post.

Raina played some vital cameos for the Indian cricket team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Sadly, he never got a place in the Indian team after the 2018 ODI series against England.

However, he performed decently in the chances he received. Yusuf played his last ODI against Pakistan in Asia Cup 2012. He played his last T20I versus South Africa the same year.

3. Best bowler from Indian 2011 World Cup squad: Zaheer Khan

Zaheer Khan was the joint-leading wicket-taker in the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The left-arm fast bowler bowled a dream first spell in the final match against Sri Lanka.

Injuries did not allow the left-arm pacer to play for a longer period. Khan played his last international match against New Zealand in the year 2014.

2. Gautam Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir was the highest run-getter in the 2011 Cricket World Cup Final for India. The left-handed batsman lost his place in the team before 2015 World Cup.

His last ODI appearance came in 2013. He made a comeback to the Test team in 2016, but Gambhir could not cement his place. Soon, he announced his retirement.
