Fox Cricket forms a team of worst tail-enders, Chris Martin named captain
The importance of lower order batsmen has increased nowadays as the teams prefer that their tail-enders do not surrender themselves, and instead, give a fight to the opposition team. Over the last few years, the tail-enders of Australia, England, and New Zealand have brought their ‘A’ game to the table.
The fans have witnessed how the likes of Tim Southee, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Sam Curran, and many others played well against India despite batting in the lower half of the batting unit. However, not all tail-enders are the same as they always struggle to stay in the middle for a long time.
Fox Cricket recently came up with a unique all-time XI featuring the worst tail-enders of all time. New Zealand’s fast bowler, Chris Martin is the captain of the team while the team also consists of two Indian players. The world’s current best fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah is present in the team along with Ajit Agarkar.
The inclusion of Agarkar surprised a few fans because he has a Test hundred to his name, and also a 21-ball 50. Even Harsha Bhogle was left surprised with this inclusion as he pointed out Agarkar's special achievements with the bat.
Agarkar? He has a test century! Got an odi 50 in 21 balls!

Other names in the team include Australian pace bowler, Glenn McGrath, and the left-arm spinner from England, Monty Panesar. Here is the complete team:
Fox Cricket’s All-time Worst Tail Enders XI: Chris Martin (c), Courtney Walsh, Glenn McGrath, Monty Panesar, Ajit Agarkar, Jasprit Bumrah, Phil Tufnell, Bruce Reid, Devon Malcolm, Henry Olonga, Pommie Mbangwa
It is noteworthy that Bumrah is the only active player to feature on this list. It seems like the Australia-based company forgot that the right-arm pace bowler from Ahmedabad had hit a phenomenal six off Pat Cummins’ delivery when Australia toured India recently. Also, there is no player from Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka present in the team. Thus, this is not the perfect tail-enders XI but the FOX experts gave their best.
