Top 10 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 performers who could earn IPL contract

The Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy has served as a platform for the youngsters to showcase their talent and attract the IPL franchises towards them. With the IPL Auction set to happen this month, here are the top 10 performers who could earn a contract.

Kense received a place in the Mumbai Indians’ trials ahead of the auction. Even the Rajasthan Royals have called him up for trials now.
#8 Lukman Meriwala
What a delivery from Lukman Meriwala to dismiss in-form Abhishek Sharma. Meriwala must surely be picked by some team in the IPL — he’s a good left-arm pacer, consistent performer, good with the new ball & can bowl the heavy ball too. Can’t be overlooked this time @RCBTweets
— Mohsu Patel (@MohsuPatel1) January 29, 2021
Lukman Meriwala played a vital role in the Baroda cricket team’s success. Meriwala played eight games for Baroda and took 15 wickets for the team.
He is a left-arm fast-medium bowler. Meriwala bowled two maiden overs in the tournament, which shows he could be an asset for any IPL franchise.
#7 Chetan Sakariya
One Tempo Driver boy named 22-years old Chetan Sakariya has been called for trails by Mumbai Indians.
— CricketMAN2 (@man4_cricket) January 30, 2021
Chetan Sakariya played for Jaydev Unadkat’s team Saurashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Sakariya is another left-arm pacer to appear on this list.
There are very few Indian left-arm fast bowlers in the IPL. Sakariya’s 12 wickets in 2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy might earn him an IPL contract soon.

It's very satisfying when you detach yourself from the results and continue to work hard on the carrom ball and the reverse carrom ball as a process. And it starts to give you outcomes. pic.twitter.com/T5inJfCR6s

#5 Kedar Devdhar
Big day 4 #TamilNadu as they clash with #Baroda in #SyedMushtaqAliT20 finals today. #TN has edge with their batting & bowling strength & captaincy of @DineshKarthik. But don’t underestimate #Baroda without big stars except stand in captain #KedarDevdhar, outstanding with bat.
— Sreedhar Pillai (@sri50) January 31, 2021
Kedar Devdhar was the captain of Baroda. Initially Krunal Pandya led the team, but after he left the bio-bubble, Devdhar played the skipper’s role.
