Former Indian player turned renowned commentator Aakash Chopra is known for his beautiful cricket insights. Apart from being the familiar face in the commentary job, he is quite popular on Twitter where his in-depth knowledge and his analysis of the game have made him an icon as well.

However, he is also known for his befitting reply to anyone who ever tries to troll him on social media. Recently, a Twitter user shared a meme featured the stats of Aakash Chopra in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where it was written, ‘When your passion is commentary but your parents force you to become cricketer’.

The twitter user shared the tweet, adding: “Hahahah found this really funny wat say @cricketaakash”

However, the ace commentator didn’t take much time to respond and gave a savage reply to it. In his reply, Aakash Chopra gave a befitting reply to the user by adding that he considers himself fortunate to play for India in the longer format of the game. He also expressed his gratitude and thanked his folks for the same. He wrote:

“it’s funny for sure. But If this was indeed the case, I can’t thank my folks enough to push me to play cricket first…fortunate to be in a list of just 296 players who’ve got the chance to represent India in Tests.”

To which, Aakash Chopra again gave a hilarious reply where he joked about the ‘positive’ and revealed that he has got 9 tests done already for COVID-19 and came negative. He wrote: “Not at all. 9 Tests done. All negative. Thankfully”
