Dale Steyn, who has now retired from playing cricket, does the commentary duties now. On the 9th of November, the South African pacer took to his Twitter handle to host a Question and Answers (QNA) session.

During which, the South African cricket legend was asked by a fan to name one current Indian player who would have troubled him if he (Dale Steyn) was still playing cricket.

To which, Steyn had a very clear answer, "KL", by which he obviously meant the current Indian team opening batsman KL Rahul, India's currently one of the top class batsman.

KL Rahul Career

KL Rahul is an important member of the Indian cricket team. He made his Indian cricket team debut in a Test match against Australia in 2014. Then in 2016, he also made his debut in the ODI and T20 International format against Zimbabwe.

He is right now India's first choice opener for the limited overs cricket along with Rohit Sharma, keeping players like Shikhar Dhawan aside from the national team.

KL Rahul finished as the highest run getter for India in the T20 World Cup 2021, where India failed to make it to the semi-finals, but KL Rahul's batting up-the-order really impressed the fans.
