Twitter has become a funny place with everyone taking a dig at others. Especially in cricket, Wasim Jaffer and Virender Sehwag blazed the trail for Indian cricketers by making humorous jibes on Twitter at others which by no intentions would have hurt them.

Jaffer showed his tweeting skill by humbling Michael Vaughan twice in India and England's last two Test matches as the visitors exhibited some relentless batting and bowling.

In a similar post of folly, Jimmy Neesham tweeted a hilarious reply to a fan's tweet about Fawad Alam that will leave you in splits.

The New Zealand cricketer was looking forward to having some fun and, in the process, picked up a tweet that quoted, "Your thoughts on Fawad Alam? The man is a fighter, isn't he?"

Jimmy Neesham tweeted, "I thought he was a cricketer." Stating the obvious, he wanted to make things literal in the face of a literary allusion.

The Kiwi all-rounder is a crucial part of their ODI squad and has done a reasonably decent job. He is also playing for Welsh Fire in the ongoing Hundred and has belted out mixed performances.

Fawad Alam, on the contrary, has shown good form for Pakistan against Zimbabwe and South Africa, stringing together a couple of remarkable centuries. Though his overall numbers aren't particularly overwhelming, his recent form has been stoking hopes for Pakistan.

Will Fawad Alam join Jimmy Neesham at T20 World Cup?

Neesham will shortly be seen in action again in the upcoming IPL and the World T20 championship, which are slated to happen in UAE .Fawad Alam might also be a part of Pakistan's T20 World Cup that will be colliding India en route to their way to glory. New Zealand has been phenomenal in its recent outings across all game forms and will be one of the biggest contenders for the upcoming T20 World Championship.
