Suryakumar Yadav's old tweets go viral on the internet after Virat Kohli staredown

Mumbai Indians faced Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore in match number 48 of the Indian Premier League 2020 in Abu Dhabi. It's the defending champions who walked out victorious as Mumbai defeated Bangalore by five wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav of Mumbai Indians played a crucial knock in ensuring that the Mumbai-based franchise walked out as the winner. He played a 43 ball 79 runs inning that was just enough to hand RCB the defeat. The match's most significant talking point was when Virat Kohli was seen sledging Suryakumar Yadav during the inning.

This incident happened when the Mumbai Indians team chased RCB's 165 runs target, and Suryakumar Yadav was looking in hot form. He was all alone taking the match Mumbai's way, and RCB's all the attempts to get the wicket of Suryakumar was just a fail.

RCB skipper Virat Kohli came in front of Suryakumar Yadav with the ball in hand after the 13th over the inning. He was then seen talking to Suryakumar Yadav about something, after which Suryakumar just gave him a stare and ignored him, and moved on to the other end of the crease. The video of this has gone viral on all of the social media platforms.

After this incident, the fans went crazy on social media and criticized the Indian cricket team captain. Some fans also supported Suryakumar in this.

Many fans on social media started to guess that Suryakumar starred at the RCB captain, not because of the sledging but also because Suryakumar didn't get the Indian national call team for the tour of Australia after his impressing performance in domestic cricket and the IPL.

But the rumors and guessing game came to an end when pictures from Suryakumar Yadav's Twitter praising Virat Kohli came knocking in the social media. In those tweets, Suryakumar Yadav has mentioned Virat Kohli as God.

The reason for giving that stare to Virat was that Suryakumar Yadav didn't expect such behavior from the Indian captain. Having won 8 out of their 12 matches so far in the IPL, Mumbai Indians are just one step away from qualifying for the playoffs. They still have two games left in the league phase and stands at the top of the table.

RCB scored 164 runs for the loss of 6 wickets batting first in the match in their restricted 20 overs, and Devdutt Padikkal scored 74 runs for the RCB team. In response, Mumbai Indians quickly chased down the target with five wickets still in hand.
