The third match of the ICC World Test Championship series between the South African cricket team and the Indian cricket team is currently underway at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town.

South African cricket team’s right-arm fast bowler Kagiso Rabada was very impressive in the first innings. His teammate Marco Jansen took three wickets with his left-arm pace. For India, Cheteshwar Pujara was the second-highest run-scorer in the first innings.

In reply, the Proteas managed a 210-run total in their first innings and conceded a 13-run first innings. Right-arm fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who made his Test debut for the Indian cricket team at Newlands four years ago, took a five-wicket haul.

Keegan Petersen scored a fifty for the South African cricket team. The batter then praised the Indian bowlers and told the reporters:

"Extremely challenging, it's the most challenge I've had in my career [facing India's bowling attack]. You need to focus on your mark or they will expose you. They test you in terms of scoring, there's not many opportunities so when one does come, you have to pounce on it.”
