The second match of the ICC World Test Championship series between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team is currently underway at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. This Test match gave the Indian cricket team a chance to complete a historic Test series win on South African soil, but it seems the home side will level the scores.

The first innings of the Indian cricket team saw stand-in captain KL Rahul score a half-century, and his fifty helped the visitors score 202 runs on the board. New pacer Marco Jansen scalped four wickets for the home team.

In reply, the South African cricket team scored 229 runs before losing all their wickets. New batter Keegan Petersen scored his maiden half-century and ensured that the home side took a 26-run first-innings lead. Shardul Thakur shone for India with a seven-wicket haul in the first innings.

Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane’s half-centuries helped the Indian cricket team score 266 runs in their second innings. They have set a 240-run target for the South African cricket team. The home side started their second innings yesterday and lost the wicket of Aiden Markram.

Marais Erasmus’ comment goes viral after being caught on stump mic

Shardul Thakur bowled a fiery spell for the Indian cricket team during the final phase of Day 4, and the Indian team appealed aggressively. Finally, they made a successful appeal as the umpire raised his finger and ruled Markram out.

But when the Indian team was making aggressive appeals, the umpire Marais Erasmus commented while standing near the stumps: “You guys are giving me a bloody heart attack.”

The video of that has gone viral on social media platforms. You can watch the video right here. Even the commentators had a laugh on air as they replayed the video.
