Carmella finally breaks the silence and reveals if she was dating John Cena!

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion and 2-time Ms. Money in the Bank, Carmella took part in an interview recently where she talked about her relationship with John Cena. In case you forgot, the rumors were rife that Carmella dated the 16-time WWE Champion before she fell in love with RAW Commentator Corey Graves. 

During her appearance on WWE’s YouTube channel, The Princess of Staten Island addressed the rumors related to her and disclosed if those rumors were true or false. The first rumor that came her way was if she was in a relationship with The Cenation Leader ever. 

Answering that question Carmella replied:
“That rumor is absolutely false. I barely know John Cena. Just because we are from Tampa, that does not mean that we are in a relationship with each other!”

Thus, in this way, Carmella trashed the rumors that she ever dated the ex-boyfriend of her good friend Nikki Bella. This was a surprising revelation made by Carmella because the rumors of her dating John Cena had spread like wildfire a few months back. 

One should understand that the rumors that come through the rumor mill are not always true. The wrestling community should only trust reliable names like Tom Colohue, Ryan Satin, and also Sean Ross Sapp when it comes to backstage news reporting. 

Carmella is currently a Superstar on SmackDown. She has been away from the singles title picture of late because the company is focusing on a feud between Sasha Banks and Bayley right now. On the other side, John Cena has again gone on a hiatus. It will be intriguing to see when the Leader of Cenation comes back to WWE.
