The Undertaker did not pick match against Roman Reigns as his masterpiece; The Big Dog responds
Kayla Braxton recently talked to Roman Reigns ahead of his Netflix film’s release. Popular actor David Spade was also a part of this conversation. Braxton touched various topics during the interview. However, the one statement that caught everyone’s attention was related to The Undertaker’s Last Ride.

Roman Reigns watched the entire documentary released on the WWE Network, and he was disappointed by the fact that The Deadman did not pick his WrestleMania 33 match as one of his masterpieces. The Undertaker selected his bouts against Shawn Michaels and Triple H as his all-time great matches.
In case you forgot, Roman Reigns had clashed with The Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 33. It was a No Holds Barred Match and The Big Dog decimated his enemy in that encounter. After losing the fight, it seemed like The Phenom would call it a day on his career, but he came back to the ring soon.
Nevertheless, he did not pick the match against Roman Reigns as one of his masterpieces. Braxton asked Roman about that match and here’s what the former Universal Champion had to say about it:
“Yeah I mean, you know... after the match I saw him and we spoke, and then on the next year, I think they showed clips of it on the second episode, where he like, apologized to me. I had no clue that he needed hip surgery.”
Ultimately, Reigns mentioned that he was extremely disappointed that he could not deliver a masterpiece with The Undertaker. He said that to date it hurts him that many wrestling fans did not like his WrestleMania 33 match.
Reigns signed off with the following statement:
“You want to be flawless out there, and for someone who'd done it as he has, I mean... in those four matches that he described, that were his masterpieces, with Shawn and Triple H, it hurts to not be in that category. Still, kudos to him. He's a warrior to go out there and still place his body on the line, to sacrifice his health for our fanbase.”
