The Undertaker finally reveals how he felt about his match with Goldberg at WWE Super Showdown

Last year, around this time, the WWE Universe witnessed a Once in a Lifetime match between Goldberg and The Undertaker. Both the men were the faces of their respective companies during the Monday Night Wars. However, WWE decided to have a match between them when they both had passed their prime.

None of the two Superstars were in shape to wrestle in the extreme heat and testing conditions. Still, Vince McMahon went ahead with the idea and had two of the greatest WWE Superstars compete in Super Showdown. The Deadman defeated The Icon in a matter of minutes, but the bout was a forgettable one.

Not even one move was executed to perfection in that entire match. Undertaker was extremely disappointed after that match, and here’s what he had to say about it while talking to Corey Graves on WWE After The Bell podcast:
"It was Triple H that called me and asked me, 'what do you think about working with Goldberg in Saudi?' And I said, 'wow, I mean, on paper, that's huge.' And I never worked with him. At this juncture in my career, you don't have very many opportunities to work with somebody of that magnitude for the first time ever kind of deal."

After the botchamania that they had, Undertaker summed it up with the following words:
"My reactions after the match, I had this dejected look on my face. It was there because I was upset. [Goldberg] was really disappointed and I was disappointed. it's just like, wow, that was really close to being catastrophic."

As mentioned by the Undertaker, everyone was dejected, disappointed, and upset after their match. He was so angry that he decided to come back and join with Roman Reigns to showcase his talent in a match against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon.
