Ravichandran Ashwin hilariously trolls David Warner over Tik Tok ban in India
Amid the global pandemic novel coronavirus outbreak and its effect, another news that came in the limelight was the ban on 59 mobile applications in India is that are developed and maintained by Chinese companies. However, the decision was taken after the recent fall-out between both the countries which didn't go well with many with respect to jobs.
“The Ministry of Information Technology, invoking it’s power under section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the relevant provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009 and in view of the emergent nature of threats has decided to block 59 apps since in view of the information available they are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of the state and public order,” the government press release noted.
However, among all the applications, Tik Tok is also banned which is one of the most popular applications in recent times. Cricketers like Yuzvendra Chahal, David Warner, and Kevin Pietersen are pretty much active on the application and they do post videos as well. Like many, the swashbuckling Australia opener David Warner has also found fun in this application during this COVID-19 pandemic situation and imposed lockdown around the world. Despite being an Australian, he used to make videos on popular Indian songs and films. Moreover, he has earned a huge fan base in India for his Tik Tok videos. As the application has banned now in India, he certainly has lost many of his followers from India.
On the other hand, Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin didn't leave the change to take a dig at Warner in this matter. He shared a tweet with a famous Tamil cinema dialogue,'Appo Anwar', quoting the news which means, “So, what’s David Warner going to do now?”

However, only time can tell if there is another application with the same theme that will launch soon, or there will be another way out of this. As far as the game is concerned, cricket has been returning slowly as England will take on West Indies in their backyard in the next month.
