Virender Sehwag picks the team that will win ICC T20 WC 2021

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag believes that despite the defeat against the Pakistan cricket team in their first match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, the Indian cricket team can still win the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 trophy. 

During an interaction with his fans on his Facebook Watch show titled Virugiri Dot Com, Virender Sehwag responded to a fan who asked him who will win the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. 

"According to me, it's Team India who will win this T20 World Cup," Virender Sehwag said. "They'll only have to play better cricket here onwards. We always cheer for our team when it wins but when it loses we have to support it even more. So, I believe that India can win the T20 World Cup."

The Indian cricket team is yet to score a single point in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. While it is still early days in the mega event, the Pakistan cricket team seems way ahead of their Group 2 rivals. The Men in Green have four points from two matches, and their three remaining matches are against Namibia, Scotland and Afghanistan. 

What is Team India’s schedule for the remaining T20 World Cup 2021? 

Team India will play their second match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 against the New Zealand cricket team on October 31 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Men in Blue will have to defeat the Blackcaps to ensure that they stay alive in the competition. 

A defeat in their next match will make the journey to the semifinals even more difficult for the Indian cricket team. It will be exciting to see which team comes out on top when the Indian cricket team locks horns with the New Zealand cricket team this Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium.
